Silent Communication

Silent communication dulls the senses,
As my emotions runs loose,
I realise the purpose of ones actions,
Indeed, the power of one action.

Life may go on,
The pretence of normality would assume,
A truth has been buried deep in the inner sanctum,
I would live in fear of its release from this mental prison.

It's an odd feeling - this love,
It overcomes practicality and need,
Is it unique to us? - I rhetorically ponder,
For suddenly I feel alone in the world.

But I must wait now, patiently,
For those melodic tunes to return,
I await its arrival anxiously,
Jealous of the times it was present in abundance.

I will wait now.
